The fibre selection and the fabric architecture
are engineered to suit the various applications.
The non-crimped carbon fabrics are specially woven
to meet stringent aerospace specification for strength,
modulus, weight, wetability and handability during
the component manufacturing process.
The non-crimped carbon tapes have high modulus and
high strength as well as AR Glass and aramids are
mainly destined to repair corroded, cracked and
damaged infrastructures such as: bridges, concrete
towers, and concrete walls.
The High Strength Glass, the aramids and the synthetic
and natural fibres are specially interlaced to achieve
complex structures that will resist various levels
of threats in ballistic conditions.

Carbon
laminates for infrastructure reinforcement
Additional to dry carbon reinforcing tapes,
EMA offers cured carbon laminates to assist
with rapid application to reinforce and repair
bridge constructions, cooling towers and other
concrete structures susceptible to cracking
and corrosion |

Pigmented
or Gel coated Composite Skins for Panel Surfacing
For the first time in Australia a composite
skin is offered for caravans, trucks, mobile
homes and façade building including ballistic
protection and tunnel liner industry. The composite
skins will assist in the manufacture of high
class finish, high impact resistance composite
panels. |

Specialized
Composite Rods for Building industry as a replacement
of steel rods
A new product is been developed to assist reinforcing
concrete without the use of conventional metal
mesh or rods. It is well known the deficiencies
that metal introduces when exposed to alkali
conditions. In order to counteract the concrete
degradation with age, a new composite rods system
is proposed to the building industry that has
very high bond strength to concrete. |

Sandwich
composite Panels
A range of light weight sandwich composite panels
at competitive prices are available for applications
where weight, surface finish and impact resistance
are a key requirement. |

Phenolic
Foams for Sandwich Composite Panel manufacturing
The closed-cell phenolic foam is non-friable,
air blown and offers excellent structural properties
together with exceptional high temperature and
fire resistance.
The foam is self supporting and is designed
for the manufacture of Sandwich Composite
Panels that will achieve an A60 temperature
rating.

Resins:
A new generation of Acrylic, Polyurethane
and Vinylester resins is been designed to
suit infrastructure repairing applications.
When combined with UV (if method of curing
allows) the resins will set very fast- such
as 3min for 1 mm resin thickness.

ADHESIVES/PRIMERS/TOUGHNERS: |
|
Nylon
It’s a hot-melt product supplied in
a monofilament or nonwoven form. The adhesive
is to be used to effectively bond, laminate,
and interweave a variety of materials for
aerospace and corrosion repatriation and repair
industry applications.
Epoxy type
In the infrastructure reinforcement application
a varity of primers are used that will enable
a good chemical bond between cement or metal
and the composite reinforcing systems
